Halloween

We enjoyed a nice round of trick-or-treating! We went with John & Max, friends from Jake's class. Then we picked up two more friends along the way. We are in the midst of a beautiful fall - full of the color of changing leaves. The high desert gave us a only a small glimpse of true season change. The pictures are from Annie class party and neighborhood trick-or-treating. We enjoyed the carving pumpkins - Jake's cyclopse, Annie's shapes and the family favorite - Brian's Harry Potter face.

Looks like it was lots of fun! The comments we got from the houses we went to were they aren't scary. The Brits have a connection with horrid things for Halloween, where as in America it's just a dress up time. I prefer the American way there! It was dark here by the tme we got back even though we went at 5.30pm. We have woken up to fog this morning but it's back to school today so I can start to get the house sorted for Allen's mum arriving on Friday. I need to post some Fall pictures as the leaves here are pretty good at present. xx
