'Tis the season

It's been a busy set for the holidays so far. We've had two work parties (NPS and HS), the pre-school program (which we sent the babysitter with the kids as the HS party was that night), a Christmas cookie party and the annual Santa party at Brian's office. Those are the pictures from above. This year the kids are very excited for the arrival of Santa. They are trying to figure out how he gets down our chimney, since it is only a tube. Well, they have active imaginations and I'm sure they'll figure something out. Hopefully I'll post a picture of our tree-cutting soon. Last weekend was snowed-out. Just one more day until Christmas break...

We're warm and you're cold, it seems all wrong! Hope the move has gone well. Don't know how you coped without the dishwasher. Back from Chile, will update the blog later today. Great place, park was expensive like an American one I suppose price wise although not as developed - no places for ice cream! J & A did the normal hiking a bit, climbing trees, rolling in the sand and playing with any stray animals! Had our Christmas do last night and it's the kids one with Santa today. I have got to start on the wrapping too. Have a fun festive time, Rachael xxx
