Landon invited Jacob & Annie to go on the "polar express" with him, so we all headed down to Flagstaff. The train ride was actually out of Williams, AZ and it was on the Grand Canyon Express. Brian accompanied the kids, and they all reported having a great time. I forgot my camera, so I'll post some pictures after I get copies from Maria. On the way home the next morning, we decided to take a 27 mile lunch-detour to the Watchtower of the Grand Canyon (South Rim). The weather here is turning colder, as to be expected, but is still generally comfortable during the day.

Hi Carrie
So was it a themed train? We went skiing today and Abi was a lot more confident. Cleared the leaves, they had great fun! Jacob's birthday tomorrow, he's very excited. Off to make the cake, he's chosen a Medieval castle. I'll take some photos tomorrow.

It was a Christmas train, after the movie the "polar express". Quite the affair around here, and tickets are sold out (except for last weekend, which is a bit early for Christmas celebrations). Jacob had a medieval castle last year, didn't he? I remember seeing pictures of it. Glad to hear you are out skiing! Not much else to report here, for now......
