Swing

Well, after a trip across the rockies via denver, Annie's swing has arrived! (thanks for the b-day gift grandpa). But as Brian said, "you know that's all she and you will be doing now". Annie loves her swing. Jacob was playing cars on his chalk-drawn race-track while I pushed the little one. Then just come cute pics of Annie, for no real reason other than I thought they were funny.

Hanging Garden

We went on a small hike, given that it is August and the desert, to the Hanging Gardens. It is rather cool, saw lots of lizards, one rabbit, cacti, and other desert vegetation. Jake hiked the whole way and loved climbing the rocks.

Antelope Canyon

Aunt Annie is visiting, and the kiddos are loving every minute of it! Aunt Annie is quite popular in our household. This morning we went to Antelope Canyon - a navajo limestone slot canyon. Jake liked the jeep ride there one minute, then didn't like it the next, but ended it all with a smile. Here are some pictures. Also, the kids brought along toys and played in teh sand (lightning McQueen and a Barbie doll). Nothing like bringing toys to nature's wonders (?)

Bike Ride

Well one this has remained constant, and that is the constant bike riding. Here's the family heading out for a trip around the block.

Annie's Funny Lunch

Little Annie was eating lunch and making faces for me at the same time. I got the camera and snapped some pictures, though they're not as funny as the live version. Jake was having a marathon nap (he doesn't usually even nap). So, it was just a girls lunch for the funny faces.

Page, Arizona

We're here! A long, hot, uneventful drive that took us through remote, beautiful scenery. We've settled in and everyhting is in good order. We celebrated little Annie's birthday with a simple party with Grandpa. Many, many thanks to Dad/Grandpa who helped us out greatly throughout the packing, driving, un-packing and settling in. We also went to Lone Rock beach a few times, and it is a great spot. I have a feeling we'll spend lots of time there. Some pictures of the birthday and the beach. Two Days Left

Well our time here in Colorado is winding down. We're packing and heading out soon. So, I'll not have a posting for a bit -until things are settled in Page, Arizona. (http://www.cityofpage.org/) Just some pics of the kids playing around while we pack. Annie likes the bubble wrap and Jacob likes the boxes. "Ari-bi-zona" here we come. I'll be in touch with a forwarding address, once we have it. (We are required to have a PO Box, no home delivery in the metropolis of Page.) We will miss all the great friends we've made here, but hope to always stay in touch.

Just a day

Here are some pictures of us playing in the yard. Jake on his bike, Annie sitting in my lap and then Dad comes flying home on his bike. We are winding down in Denver and off to Arizona next week. Let the packing begin.
