Their classes are 1.5 hours long, longer than any other school I've been in. No, not much teaching, mostly playing a video. A new car -- have fun picking one out. Brian and I have lived off/on with one car, though I think it would be hard to do with kids. Good luck deciding.....carriesweatlandhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16258920532620508022noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5737588933201151986.post-27536131745441776462007-12-10T17:04:00.000-08:002007-12-10T17:04:00.000-08:00Did you have to teach anything? Might see if we can survive with one for a while. Test drove a new Mazda 3 today which was good. Allen looked at a Merc. Still thinking about it though!
Rachael.Rachaelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05693735853302048959noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5737588933201151986.post-22144209185137515102007-12-10T13:02:00.000-08:002007-12-10T13:02:00.000-08:00Hi Rachael,The subbing was 10-11 grades (15-16 yea...Hi Rachael,
The subbing was 10-11 grades (15-16 year olds), and they were pretty good. I was surprised to see that the school was about 95% Navajo. I knew there was a large presence, but didn't know it was that significant. I guess a large group are bused in from the reservations. Anyway, I think Jake and Annie were just fine with the sitters. Glad to have me home, but they mostly behaved. My sister is coming up for Christmas, so we are staying here for that. But we are planning to go to Bryce Canyon for New Years. It'll be cold, but a nice outing.

Oh, if it isn't a lot of trouble or if you don't have any other takers, we'd love Abi's winter stuff. We hope, also, to start with skiing in Flagstaff at some point. It may have to wait until next season.

I bet you are glad to have Allen's mum in town and get to some serious skiing. Keep us posted on how Jacob and Abi do with the lessons. I'll be curious to hear, and I'll be hoping that it goes brillantly. Got your card in the mail today; ours is on its way. How did Jake and Annie do with the sitter? Are you still going to Bryce Canyon for Christmas? We're on count down for Grandma arriving! I'm being asked every day is it Christmas yet! Have fun
Rachael.Rachaelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05693735853302048959noreply@blogger.com
